Incompetent and untrustworthy management. No direction or goals for our team, new customer acquisition, or any type of growth/improvement. Unable or unwilling to train.
They assure you "work/life balance" in the interviews, then expect you to work 50 to 55 hours per week for 14, 21, sometimes 30 days in a row.
I should have listened when the recruiter told me there was a 70% turnover rate (can't recall if it was for the role or the company), but I wanted to work in the maritime industry. If you're offered a job here, decline and wait it out to find a better company.
