I've had a mixed experience working here. The company does offer some positives, like free vision insurance for the entire family and free dental insurance for employees.

However, the health insurance is extremely expensive, costing $1,800 per month with a $500 deductible for family coverage. There's a cheaper option at $700 per month, but it comes with a $2,000 deductible, which is still quite costly. What really concerns me is the PTO policy. If you leave the company or if you're let go, you won't receive any of your accrued PTO. This is very disappointing and feels unfair—I've never worked for a company that doesn't pay out unused PTO when you part ways. This policy has left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me question the company's respect for its employees. If you're considering working here, weigh the pros and cons carefully. The benefits may not be as great as they seem at first glance.

As you pointed out, alongside our affordable vision and dental benefits, Index offers a two-tiered medical plan tailored to meet the wide-ranging needs of a nationwide workforce. The higher deductible plan is balanced by Index paying more than 75% of the total premium cost and contributing up to $2,000 annually toward the employees' health spending accounts for qualified medical expenses. The second option offers a lower in-network deductible of $500 for individual and $1,000 for family coverage. Index subsidizes approximately 60% of the total annual premium for the second plan tier, which features a lower in-network deductible for both individual and family coverage. This deductible aligns with the levels commonly offered by many preferred provider organizations (PPO) and health maintenance organizations (HMO) plans. Instead of viewing PTO as a benefit to save for a future financial payout, our PTO policy is designed to support a healthy work-life balance by encouraging employees to take their well-earned time off when they need it! None. Do not believe the generic and fake reviews below. The CEO will NOT ask how to improve your benefits. He and a couple others who clearly don't want to be there will join a call with you for 2 minutes during your first week.

Minpunten

You are just a statistic to them. (Unless you're a brown noser or are severely underpaid). Cold, careless, and inhumane company just like so many other corporations today. Overhired during COVID and firing and laying off many as a result of negligence and lack of foresight. Please stay away unless you want to work with fake, cold robots who only care about deadlines, earnings reports, and increasing shareholder value.
