Pluspunten
- Part of the Informa group, good employee benefits - Plenty of learning opportunities to take on various projects and travel (pre-COVID) - People culture is good, particularly among non-management executives - Office space and facilities were great
Minpunten
- Management has limited vision, is resistant to change, does not trust its own people at times - During the pivot to digital events, management did not fully learn the "nuts and bolts" / technical know-how of how digital events were going to be run; this impacted their knowledge of what's feasible or what can be further augmented and leveraged etc. to partners and clients, causing miscommunication and taking up their colleague's time on clarifications - No clear logic to commissions structure and targets set - They rarely promote their staff; one of the heads of departments even said in a hiring interview that they do not practice promoting of staff, instead they just review salary increments - Heads of departments are considered "old guards", having been in the company for many years; they can be resistant to innovation because they feel existing processes are good enough - No work life balance
