Getting a job here is easy, countless people join, with little or no experience or qualifications. While it isn't rocket science to sell ad space, it would be reassuring to know that people on the floor were not straight out of GCSE's and can string a sentence together.
The typical 'seedy sales boy' can be seen left right and center in this office with baggy jackets loose ties and disgusting attitudes. The sort of sales staff that would sell would / could sell ice to an Inuit, except they would describe it as a risk free time share on offer at a fraction of it's true value.
Truth be told, there is huge emphasis on lead generation owning to the fact that there is little to no repeat business as their products are sub-par and overpriced (Advice to any potential client - Don't). When I worked here it was a requirement to have 100 NEW leads each day. There was also the requirement to have 120 minutes of conversations with clients on the phones, from that you were required to have 10 successful conversations going through an impossible to complete tick box process which rewarded all the wrong behaviours. Fail to do any of this? Forget your commission. Sell sell sell, no commission. Good glad that's understood.
