Pluspunten
The work environment is good, leadership are technical and humane. Colleagues are generally very intelligent and they mostly work for the company for decades (low turnover). The factories have an obsession with continuous improvement and being world class in quality and cost per unit produced. If that's your thing, that should be exciting. No overwork, really. Good quality of life. The compensation is a mixed bag, not too bad but not great either.
Minpunten
The company is constantly being separated and integrated into bigger companies, even though the business is very profitable. There is a lack of focus on the R&D management, it is getting better now that the company is not part of Siemens anymore, but they don't really follow the Agile project management premises very well. Lack of people to make the important deliverables a reality with good quality, cost and attention to manufacturability. Sometimes the factory management focus too much on continuous improvement and use the resources in menial issues while great projects are left on the sideline and that can be detrimental to the overall company.
