I would say that the Innovage mission is one to be embraced if it were carried out as proposed. I believe that a great number of participants are afforded access to healthcare, where they would be otherwise ignored and swept under the rug. Innovage also has a good number of employees that actually care about the people they serve; they are genuinely good people.

Oy vey, where do I start. For starters, this organization is management heavy. This is fine, but management doesn't have a clear vision nor a clue on how to carry out its operations. There is an immense disconnect between the Colorado corporate office and the San Bernardino location. There is a huge emphasis on care plans and assessments and very little importance on treatments or interventions. The turn over rate is ridiculous. The job description for your respective role is exhaustive and always changing. Social workers are overworked with large caseloads; rehab resorts to giving away endless amounts of durable medical equipment and calls that an treatment, and PT's and OT's rely heavily on assistants and aides to carry out treatments; the clinic and its internal processes is disorganized, and it is the biggest target in terms of participant dissatisfaction. Innovage enrolls more participants than it can provide care for.
