Innowatts have come up with a very clever way to allow Energy providers to optimise their buying/hedging strategy by providing a means of predicting how much energy they may need in the future. Very simple idea but potentially a huge saver. Great opportunities to be had here, especially if you're into Data Engineering or Machine Learning/AI, and particularly if you're in the EU - they are expanding there now. Innowatts is one of the World Economic Forum top 100 tech pioneers (June '20). Great people in all areas of the company. Very friendly overall culture, with (albeit online/virtual due to COVID) taco talks, happy hours etc. Very inclusive .. everyone from most recent hire to CEO.
Minpunten
As with many mature startups Innowatts have just started on the journey from bespoke customer-focused Project to Product, and there is a long way to go yet. Got the impression not everyone is 100% on board, and there was some lack of clarity in areas such as design authority.
