Too Many Unnecessary Meetings: The IT side of the company has too many meetings involving the technology and product folks. These so called "meetings" are called demos or reviews or sync ups or have no agenda most of the time. The leaders of the company are indecisive and product managers do not have any direction. Hence, they create their own direction and create their own way of doing things. In case the direction of the product manager decides ends up being a failure, the analysts who report to the particular product managers will be blamed or let go when time comes for a layoff. Friends and Family: The teams in the company hire the friends they know of and their family members. Now, the issue with this is "when push comes to the shove" . For example: A layoff - The directors and managers will protect them(Friends and Family) at all costs. Very Unprofessional and Secretive: The company does not inform employees of the decisions it takes in a timely manner. This raises the question whether the decisions are taken in full spirit considering all aspects. Also, some of the information is not passed down to the employees for reasons which no one knows. Clients are leaving the company: The customers of this company have realized how inefficiently the company is run and will not be starting or renewing their contracts. The revenue is going down which is definitely not a good sign.
