Pluspunten
- Lots of opportunities to learn and grow
- I spend all my time on meaningful work and don’t waste time
- High level of trust from management – and in return they of course also expect high ambitions, performance, and self-discipline from me
- I’m judged by my work, not my ability to play the office game
- No bureaucracy at all. No long-winded decision processes
- Fantastic team-trips
- I feel valued, appreciated and cared for
- I have no commute. I invest that time in learning and improving instead
- Colleagues are ambitious, smart and self-motivated – and they expect the same from me
- We have an informal work culture – with lots of fun on the channels and in meetings :-)
Minpunten
- It took lots of discipline and willpower for me to begin working remotely.
- I had a few arguments with my wife because she did not understand that she must not disturb me at all – even when I work from home. I had to tell her that if she disturbed me – even when I work at home – I would also start to suddenly show up at her office and disturb her in front of her colleagues. She finally understood that it’s not possible to have a remote job – unless you take it just as seriously (or more seriously) than an office-based job.
- I miss having colleagues to meet with physically (apart from the team-trips).
