leading company in its business, truly international environment, good training / technical competence growth opportunities

Minpunten

complex organization, improved a lot since Country-based, Intertek as One organization took place. At managerial level you still need to have "sponsor" and alliances to grow in the hierarchy but it is not so different from any other large multinational entity. Here it is a bit more difficult due to the legacy of so many acquisitions and the very diverse and ample range of businesses

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
