Pluspunten
I worked in Operations, scheduling the pickups, from 8am to 1pm, for over a year. Got the work down pat in 2 weeks, and the rest of the year there was essentially more of the same, pretty easy, pretty brainless, for 5 hours every weekday morning.
I loved how easy and brainless the work was for both of us in Operations. I always said it was a great way to wake up in the morning. Good student job. I could listen to music (when I wasn't on the phone) and other than my being late sometimes (you should be on time, if you're in Operations), they had no problems with me, and any mistakes I made could be fixed pretty quickly. Not much to learn, just what carriers we worked with, how to schedule pickups with them, and the timezones of the U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
The views when you're coming into work are great too. You can see the sunrise over Rock Canyon, Squaw Peak, and Provo as you walk in.
The boss over Operations and Customer Service is a chill person, and an understanding boss, at least when I was there. I had some pretty wild things happen to me while I worked there, and they were mostly understanding.
I will say that Customer Service looked like a much harder job, and the people in Sales seemed miserable. I would only want to work in Operations, and I felt really lucky. There's an older review of someone who worked in Sales, and I agree with what they said, Sales would be no fun. Fortunately, the taskmaster sales manager left in 2017, and the newly promoted guy was great, but the work was still similar to that other review, for sales people.
Also, my sister worked at a competitor in American Fork, doing Operations, and she had a terrible time and her job was harder, so I felt extremely lucky.
And lastly, there was a Halloween Party, and I won a cash prize, and there was a nice Christmas bonus too.
Minpunten
The other person working in Operations was a little hard to work with, but most of the time, they were not there when I was (we handed off work), so I didn't have much of a problem.
The building was under construction most of that year, but it ended about the time I left, and it looked a lot better!
And the road outside was also under construction, which is now finished and looks really good!
This is not a place to have a career, unless maybe you worked in Customer Service, or if you were willing to put in the time in Sales (the sales manager who was promoted, was the new guy, but he had worked there for over a year). My job was a dead-end, but I wasn't looking for a career there, just some stability for a year, which turned out perfectly for me.
