Pluspunten

- Amazing peers, colleagues, teammates - collegial work environment - some of the clients are incredibly interesting and enjoyable to work with - social events and company culture can be fun - potential to do what you want if you work hard enough / ask for it / are liked by SLT - an accessible CEO with interest in people - the grind will help you grow

Minpunten

- zero work life balance - little to no managers overseeing your personal growth - you’re paid terribly - company isn’t very innovative, your job won’t really grow into something different - unstructured teams with little to no transparency to vertical growth “there are no job titles,” they brag - no transparency on company goals, visions, revenue, etc.

Pluspunten

Exposure to a variety of projects and high-profile clients

Minpunten

Quite toxic agency culture with constant long hours and little work-life balance. Pay is low compared to workload, and burnout feels normalised. You learn fast, but it’s not sustainable long term.

Pluspunten

Note: Jam Direct has rebranded to JAM CRM. Hybrid, breakfast, bar, used to have free lunches but now only cover $10, dogs allowed in office.

Minpunten

The workload is unreasonable for the pay. Only one half-hour break. It could be fully remote, but require 3 days in-office where it is difficult to focus since people are constantly talking or coming up to you. When you commute home you'll still have work to finish off. Once in a while working after-hours is acceptable, but its become the "norm". Have actually heard several people say "if you're only doing your required 40 hours, you have capacity to do more." What? They want you to be working an additional 10-20 hours for free...? Work-life balance is so broken it makes it harder to do the work you normally enjoy, feel miserable. Have "Professional Development Plans" which sounds nice but really you are forced to change your honest answers to questions like "How is your workload, What is your happiness level" to comply with good ratings only. You never know when to be honest or comply with whats required of you to say. The work itself would actually be great, but theres TOO MANY projects to manage effectively, timings are ALWAYS too tight and EVERYTHING is URGENT and there are TOO MANY people giving their subjective opinions and in the end, you do not even get the satisfaction of your hard work.
