Minpunten
Jostens is having a lot of issues with current management, and balancing new talent with priorities for hitting profitable numbers in preparation to sell the company. 60% of the leadership that was hired in the last 12 months have been let go or quit due to constant restructuring, and the hiring of consultants so payroll can stay below the EBITA line for future buyers.
The talent they brought in were a great addition in hopes of trying to bring the company up to speed on best in class practices, but the company would rather focus on making sure the sales teams are protected, and cooking the books to make sure commissions are protected. It feels like they really only protect legacy employees as they know where the bodies are buried.
I'd recommend to wait to apply to this place after they sell the company, so they can clean up leadership and have a more stable path forward. Teams members have been going to HR to work through the leadership challenges, but with the company being owned by private equity, there is no sign for improvement until they get sold.
