Pluspunten
I had the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented and caring people during my time at K12 Insight. Many of the relationships I built there are ones I genuinely value and will continue long after leaving the company. The mission itself is meaningful, and there are employees who work very hard to support schools and districts.
Minpunten
The company culture became increasingly difficult over time. There were constant shifts in priorities and direction, which created confusion and instability across teams. Layoffs and departures seemed to impact nearly every department, leading to low morale and uncertainty. Within the sales organization specifically, there was a strong sense of micromanagement and very little trust in employees. Expectations and goals often felt unrealistic, especially without the coaching, enablement, or support needed to achieve them successfully. Communication from leadership frequently lacked consistency, and it became challenging to feel confident in long-term strategy or job security.
