Benefits: Medical and dental plans are decent. Small funded offices with potential for travel

Minpunten

Favoritism runs rampant in the smaller offices. If you show any different opinion or correct someone's knowledge to use proper terminology you're given mediocre tasks until you resign. The staff encourage an environment of bullying, and reinforce those that perform the bullying. When employees seek role change the company will refuse to relocate you to another role. Read the writing on the wall before accepting an offer. Ask them how many folks have left within a year.

Pluspunten

The North American CEO Genuinely cares about the well being of the employees and made it clear that work life balance was to be respected. They publicly disclosed their vacation time they took to encourage people to catch up. The work was interesting and Kapsch is always on the bleeding edge of technology implementation in the North American Market. Every project manager I worked with on Tolling and Traffic was made me want to learn how to operate on their level. Kapsch was very inclusive, I was provided a pride version of the email signature in 2021 and was never pressured to change it to appease customers. I deeply appreciated that,

The workload can be demanding as the headcount has not caught up to pre pandemic levels caused by delays in project awards as funding dries up.
