The company culture and its lack of established core values is a breeding ground for questionable business practices. Led by a team of egomaniacs who are known internally to terminate employees who disagree with them, Kaseya hires and promotes "yes" men and women who become no more than glorified bullies as they rise in rank. Although executives tout a "meritocracy," many of them hire family members and close friends into positions of power, giving others with high performance appraisals 0-2% merit increases for their great work. The CEO openly tells employees on all-hands calls that he is against Ivy League educated individuals and seems to focus success stories on those who were hired straight from bartending, door-to-door sales, or retail roles. If you want to take a vacation day, be prepared to be berated by your manager for not answering emails or calls on your day off. A random meeting during the weekend might also appear on your calendar during weekends without notice. Future career advancement may be threatened verbally for a lack of dedication to the role during your personal time. Benefits programs are a disgrace. While premiums for the high deductible plan are fully covered for employee-only coverage, the standard PPO plan will run you several hundred dollars per month (and well over industry standard), which is unaffordable for the vast majority of underpaid employees at this company. And coverage is abysmal. One doctor's office said, "I can't, in good faith, call this level of coverage an insurance plan." If you're planning on having a child, don't count on parental leave either. "Birthing parents" are afforded 12 weeks of paid leave, but those who are not physically having the child are given just 2 weeks (think: fathers, adoptive parents, those using a surrogate, etc.). In short, whatever they're promising you isn't worth the stress, frustration, and bullying you will endure while working at Kaseya.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We currently offer competitive starting salaries, annual performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package which includes a PPO health plan, life insurance, and disability insurance without any recurring costs for employee only coverage. As with most companies, adding additional coverage for family members carries nominal additional costs. Our PTO and national holidays are in line with our industry and company size. Further, most employees are eligible for equity option grants effectively making employees part owners of the company, which is something not many other private organizations offer. We’re a unique company with a tremendous growth trajectory and we love to reward our employees who contribute to our success! Be certain that everyone at Kaseya is accountable for their actions, inaction or inappropriate behavior. This includes Managers, Directors and Executives. We encourage employees to report inappropriate conduct promptly, as it will not be tolerated in the workplace. If you feel you have witnessed inappropriate behavior, or you yourself have been treated less than amicably, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Minpunten

-Products generally dont work, no confidence in selling them -Current Leadership is completely out of touch with the reality of their workforce/operations - Claws back commissions on deals you never sold / received attainment/comms on (not sure how this is legal) -No WFH flexibility. -PTO is not respected. Paternity leave is frowned upon but somewhat respected. IN most cases, still expected to produce -Consistently misleads employees on intiatives, and borderline falsifies layoff rationale -Equity program is likely funny money at this point. prev CFO fired, and was actively involved with Enron scandals. replacement CFO gutted for quick sale of company by PE and bailed out when he saw it was impossible -Vast majority of clientel is with Kaseya out of pure hostage scenarios through predatory contract policies
