-Bright and ambitious colleagues -Great firm to develop your skills -Good variety of practices/specialty areas (i.e. PE) -Excellent mentorship program -Global staffing model if you want to go to UAE, Australia, etc.

Minpunten

-Newly introduced aggressive Up or Out model pushes out those who are not staffed on the right projects or have a partner who would throw them a utilization bone -Corrupt Utilization tracking system: Does not track actual hours worked (40 hours max, which NOBODY at this firm works 40 hours) and some partners give billing codes to select favored consultants so they are "blocked" from staffing and really sit idle while you hustle on proposals that do not have any positive utilization impact -High burn proposal work (most of the time it's a shot in the dark so your efforts will go un-noticed for the most part) -Limited firm expertise/growth areas -Many leaving the firm in droves due to frustration/leadership -Promotions really are luck of the draw and as someone else said, could be a sign of sexist leadership... -Mandatory firm building/recruiting/IC creation/etc at the expense of your work/life balance -Staffing doesn't really look out to match opportunities to best suited consultants -Bonus is discretionary so don't believe HR when they tell you a minimum range

If you’re fresh out of school and don’t have a specific skill and don’t know what to do, and you’re willing to be a yes man then yes it might be a good place to figure out your next step.

Minpunten

- Lack of pipeline for certain practices (and they will blame that on you saying your utilization is low but there’s nothing you can do at an associate level) - Full of people that feel good about themselves but they actually knows nothing about how actual industry work - No talent - Management will give you vague feedback that you can’t act on, For example, I got asked to “elevate the deck” but when I asked is it the messaging or is it the format etc they can’t give me anything specific - The expectation on work quality is inconsistent - Some manager level people can’t do excel which is shocking - You need to be a people pleaser in order to get promoted
