Proceed with caution. Progression plans are often unrealistic, with vague or unfair reasons given for why promotions don’t happen—usually tied to internal friendships and favoritism. There’s a clear divide between teams, with negativity behind the scenes despite leadership trying to sell an amazing culture. Some members of the people team are unprofessional, unapproachable, and contribute to the toxicity. Promised roles are often put on hold without clarity. High turnover due to lack of appreciation, career development, and poor organization. Favouritism and double standards are common.
