Pluspunten
It is relatively easy work most of the time, excluding the busy portions of the week and season. There is rarely need to use any high level thinking and it is easy to "space-out" while getting paid. For the most part, fellow employees are somewhat competent and quite friendly. Sometimes, relatively good looking girls shop in the store. Customers are occasionally understanding and friendly, sometimes you will receive a monetary tip for your work. Compensation is way more than anyone made in 1930.
Minpunten
Store is never properly staffed, leaving the few employees in the store almost completely overwhelmed during any increases in foot traffic. Compensation is awful. In my case, I have been working for the company for several years, including several promotions and have received LESS than a dollar per hour increase in my wage from the time of hire. The only reason to keep this job is to earn a meager living while completing college or high school as management is relatively understanding about working around personal schedules. A tremendous number of barely literate individuals are hired and subsequently terminated on a frequent basis. The somewhat more competent individuals are kept in the employ of the company only to create problems for management and the few competent employees.
