Unfortunately, the company culture is non existent and the management is extremely toxic. Higher management doesn't trust their employees leading to symptomatic micro management and non existent home office (even in pandemic times). This causes employees to feel pressured by every single word or action that stray off the multiple heavy processes, hence limiting and suppressing all forms of initiative. In the worst cases and very frequently, management can be abusive and aggressive including sometimes shouting at employees or straight up gaslighting. Lack of empathy is rampant and basic respect is sometimes hard earned or missing. As time passes, employees can even be lead to believe that normal human decency and small appreciation are exceptional rewards. Like any companies, urgent tasks are frequent and problems can arise. That would be acceptable if the management did not spend more efforts in blaming employees rather than looking for solutions and providing support. Moreover, they do not take any responsability for any potential issue even though every single element needs to be checked and validated by them. Internal communication is terrible as expectations, objectives and priorities are never clear leading to very tense moments especially in peak season with tight deadlines and unimaginable workload. Employees often feel overworked and burnt out. As transparency is not a value and data is not shared, many tasks and positions completly lack strategical outlook making the daily work more about creating the most assets possible instead of focusing on quality. All these issues result in exceedingly high turnover with some of the employees or interns quitting before even a month working here. Overall, the higher ups manage with fear creating a heavy atmosphere and a very unhealthy work environement. For the sake of your mental health, please run away.
