      The schedule for people to be off sometime we fall short handed which makes other nurses have to work double hard to get things done and pt covered. some nurses sees 7-8 pt aday and others may only see 5-6 at all times. THe same parttime nurses are used almost as full time only on a couple of areas where the other ones that had more patient dont have any help.

      Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

      Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
