      It’s a good job for your employees without experience . LKW Walter will brain wash you during “Trainee Program”. You take over the P&L responsibility in small areas where you are supposed to leverage the profitability. You speak with eastern European hauliers and drivers trying to convince them to take a load from you.

      Minpunten

      Positive feedback about LKW is being produced by HR department. Only a few will survive at LKW Walter more than couple years (if so than Austrian). LKW is everything else they promise on their website – job is not save. Young and inexperienced are preferred as they don’t ask questions and follow the instructions.

      The trainee program was good. A few weeks of presentation combined with a few departments that are being visited. The salary is competitive. Good company to have on the CV.

      I think that my experience was subjective and it is very easy to have such an experience at this company, because your work-life balance depends on the higher management that you are under. The promised home office days depend on the higher manager and a lot of other rules depend on them, because he/she has the power to shorten or cut how they want. You either agree with the new rules or you leave. It is a rigid top-down management style as far as I have noticed. If you like a good beginners-salary without any say or opinion in the administration then go for it.
