Prior to 2013 this was a great company to work for, I would have given it a thumbs up. There is a great history here. Many people dedicated their careers to building this company. People used to matter here.

Minpunten

Previous owners handing company to family members with no experience who only see dollar signs and have no regard for those who have dedicated themselves to making the company a success. Company is playing the cost cutting game by firing long term employees. Company has become management heavy while sales are flat. Management is not experienced, not dynamic, not proactive. Managers spend more time on vacations than finding new customers or keeping current customers happy. Prognosis is grim.

Director won't let extra work be dumped on the department by the rest of the company.

There's absolutely no diversity. Everyone thinks identically in the chemistry department. There's a reason there's always an opening there. Don't do it.
