Pluspunten

Very casual environment and a great work-life balance. If you have a family or other significant responsibilities, you'll have no problem fitting them in around your work. They hire really great people who are smart and fun to be around. The office is also very modern and well-decorated.

Minpunten

The company has no real strategy and tends to start a million things and never finish them. It's very possible to work on a project for weeks and never see anything come of it. The industry the company operates in isn't the best, either. While I generally did not have an issue working in lead generation and affiliate marketing, other employees were often misled about exactly what it was we did. Lead gen isn't terrible, but it's certainly not the most glamorous type of marketing out there. As other reviews have mentioned, it's almost impossible to get promoted from within. Management is always bringing in outside hires for leadership roles, often overlooking employees who have been there for multiple years and have proven themselves. Communication about these hires is often very vague, leaving many questions about impending changes unanswered. Management is not invested in employee development whatsoever. Aside from having no clear company goals, employees aren't given any real structure or feedback on how they can grow. Reviews are few and far between, are frequently rescheduled when they do happen, and give almost no useful advice at all. It's easy to feel like an annoyance for wanting feedback and a general sense for how you're performing. The company often confuses perks with culture. Free food and beer is great, as is the impressively decorated office, but it doesn't compensate for lack of support. It's easy to be enthralled by these things, particularly if you've never worked for a "startup" before, but you'll quickly come to realize that while eating free organic snacks is nice, it isn't going to teach you the skills you need to know to further your career.

This review of Leadnomics echoes some of the previous reviews. Our goal at Leadnomics is to provide a positive work culture in a state of the art facility with top benefits. We support our employees in a big way and have instituted ‘stakeholders’ meetings for employees that include financial transparency, discussions about new verticals and are instilling a culture of ‘failing forward’. We strongly believe in a culture where pushing the envelope and not fearing mistakes is good business. Leadnomics works in a constantly changing marketplace and regularly looks for market opportunities while creating an environment that fosters the ability to pivot as needed.

I was paid while working mostly from home, so this was something notably positive from my experience. Would recommend to a friend due to this! From my perspective, and those I worked closely with, the work culture requires a high degree of adaptability and emotional resilience to navigate effectively. I was not capable of meeting the expectations of Leadnomics leadership, so I made the decision to depart due to the feedback I received regarding my own inadequacies. I learned a lot from this experience!

It’s worth noting that I signed a non-disparagement agreement upon joining this company, which limits my ability to share specific feedback. Prospective employees should carefully assess whether the company’s culture and leadership style align with their own working preferences. I took some time to reflect before writing this review, as the leadership style left a strong impression and required careful thought to evaluate my experience. The company does not have a dedicated HR department, which can make navigating workplace concerns or policies more challenging. Employees seeking formalized support structures might find this environment less accommodating, but since it is a startup, this is not out of the ordinary.
