Meeting the requirements often still results in being managed out. Speed Over Strategy: Strategic decisions are often based on rushed, cherry-picked data research to keep up with a fast-paced environment. There is rarely enough time taken to slow down, reflect, or analyze the root cause of why certain actions are being taken. Conflict-Avoidant & Political Culture: The workplace culture tends to be conflict-avoidant, leading to highly political dynamics. Constructive feedback is often misconstrued as overstepping or meddling, making transparent communication difficult. Over-Reliance on AI: There is an excessive dependency on AI for generating feedback and drafting strategies. This frequently leads to AI hallucinations and strategic errors, which are swept under the rug as "acceptable losses" rather than being properly addressed. Loyalty Bias & Single-Point Failures: Promotions to highly influential positions are sometimes heavily weighted toward tenure rather than relevant background experience. This has created organizational bottlenecks where entire departments are overly dependent on a single individual, creating structural vulnerabilities. Overworked Overwhelmed Underpaid No diversity - hired a whole team that looked like eachother. White men Employment decisions made on a whim with no feedback or reason. People in leadership have no idea what’s happening at the deal level. Absolute disregard for the individual for a company that touts creating a good work environment. Just a number to them always
