Pluspunten
Overall, LearningLeaders has given it's summer fellows an amazing opportunity to practice and improve their skills in a global setting. These are my three highlights: 1. Accessibility International internships/fellowships are not as accessible to certain areas of the world. However, LL has opened applications to those interested regardless of where you are in the world. The application process is a bit lengthy but this assures that all applicants are assessed objectively based on merits and cultural fit. 2. Diversity All the selected summer fellows possessed a diverse set of skills and background. This year's fellows hailed from Abu Dhabi to the Philippines. It was an amazing opportunity to foster friendships and learn from each other at the same time. 3. Company Culture The heart of the company is in it's people. Summer fellows were welcomed warmly by everyone in the office. There is an air of positivity which encourages you to be the best version of yourself. This is the kind of environment that helps develop a hunger for learning and improvement.
Minpunten
As much as the company would love to welcome as many fellows as possible, there are certain qualifications and niche skills that need to be met. However, this is something that applies to all companies. However, this fellowship would not have been as fulfilling in the absence of risks and challenges.
