Pluspunten

They have some robust services, with some good engineering challenges along the way, which for an engineer is a good thing. Very talented engineers there as well, from which you can learn a lot. Some teams operate in a fully remote structure, others are hybrid. Also they have some interesting and attractive values like "Do the right thing" and "Success is better shared", even though these are definitely not compatible with the reality.

Minpunten

There is a complete lack of care for their people. HR is messy in dealing with onboarding stuff, in some ways they are quite a joke. There is no ongoing conversations with anyone to check how you are getting on, things may be going downhill and you are not even aware of. People are fired out of the blue and not given any actual reason for it. I've seen senior professionals simply disappearing overnight and nobody knows anything about. Entire teams being let jaw dropped and the constant fear of the same happening to you, this is how the atmosphere looks like. There is a lot of crap going on with higher management levels that result in lack of direction and clarify for teams down the line, and bad decisions going on. There is an apparent fight for power. Some say this is the result of the acquisition of a big company in the recent years. Benefits are a bit below average: health insurance doesn't cover any family member in any way, pension contribution is not so attractive, there is no bonus/stocks at all and performance evaluation/salary increases are pretty much non existent. Often times you are expected to work early in the mornings or late on evenings to be able to interact with people in completely 'opposite' timezones.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t reflect the standards we aim to uphold. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the points you’ve raised in more detail so we can better understand your experience and continue improving. We are growing quickly, and with that comes ongoing work to strengthen our processes and ensure our people feel supported throughout their journey with us. Recently, we’ve introduced structured onboarding check-ins at 1, 4, and 8 months to provide more consistent support for new employees. We’re also collecting more regular feedback through our engagement surveys and, most recently, our stay survey, The Loop, which helps us understand what keeps people at Learnosity and where we need to do better. Your perspective is important, and if you’re open to a conversation, I’d be grateful to speak with you directly. Please feel free to reach out to me. Juliana Soares, VP People & Culture.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns and feedback about your experience at Learnosity. We take all feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to address your points offline as there seems to be a disconnect between your review of the company's product strategy and what has recently been communicated in our most recent Town Hall meeting. It is important to note that the views expressed in your review do not reflect the current climate at Learnosity. According to the feedback from our most recent Engagement Survey conducted in May 2024: Our overall engagement score is the highest the company has ever had, sitting at 73%, only 2 points below our company target; 84% of employees would recommend Learnosity as a great place to work; 79% believe that the leaders at Learnosity have communicated a vision that motivates them; 84% of employees feel proud to work for Learnosity. At Learnosity, we foster a culture of transparency and we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment for all our employees. We have several initiatives in place to promote collaboration, transparency and employee wellbeing, including: Increased transparency and communication from leadership through our State of the Union (Town Hall) meetings; Coffee with the Founders; Engagement Surveys; Monthly updates; Success Connections bi-annual check-ins. We understand that there is still work to be done, and we are committed to continuing to make improvements. We value your feedback and will use it to help us create a better workplace for everyone. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to Learnosity. Sincerely, The Learnosity People & Culture Team
