Pluspunten

The company itself seems pretty ok, lots of incompetency between departments though. Many pass off helping folks to someone else as much as possible.

Minpunten

The leadership team that runs the claims department doesn't have the skillset or the industry knowledge needed to run a functioning department. The turnover within claims department is the worst in this space. Never in my career have I seen so much turnover from the top down. The pay is atrocious compared to similar roles with similar experience. Growth opportunities are for those who will kiss the most backside and not actually based on merit or skillset.

When I started there it was amazing. Lots of flexibility, good pay, great benefits, and fantastic people to collaborate with. It was a real startup culture.

Minpunten

Once they started hiring old hats from entrenched and archaic insurance companies to be senior leaders the tone changed. Almost overnight it became just like the institutional insurance companies where you can be stabbed in the back at any moment and you’re only valued if senior leaders can see your work product. If you don’t have regular interactions with them or pat yourself on the back often you are as good as gone.
