Pluspunten
The only good thing about working in LifeShield was some of the benefits: free DIRECTV, medical/dental/vision, 401k, etc.
Minpunten
Terrible, red-tape infused management, you don't really get to move up as for my case, they never moved me up even when I was qualified for the desired position. The training never really helped much to prepare for the call floor. I've been in plenty of call centers and this was the worst call center I've dealt with. No one wants to take responsibility for their mistakes, and blaming is rampant. So much gossip in this call center, and it's so dog-eat-dog. You rarely get loyal workers there, and some of the laziest employees I've worked alongside with were from LifeShield. The parent company DIRECTV was a headache and if there's one sole thing I've learned, it's this: There's a lot of better companies that actually care about their employees to apply to, and really want to keep them rather than think of them as a number. I know this is cliche and commonplace, but this company , though it's young, should really learn from their young mistakes.
