Pluspunten
The majority of engineers and PMs were good at the job as well as easy to get along with.
Minpunten
Upper management is absolute chaos - the CEO rules with fear and the atmosphere in the main office is very tense when he is around. There are regularly changes and movements but these are not relayed to the team, countless times I learned there was a new person in charge of our department weeks after the fact from other people. There is a tendency to not select the correct people and just to shove people at a role or people getting promoted to roles they are completely unsuited for given their inexperience and lack of any kind of knowledge of the industry. A 'boys club' of the CEO and his acolytes definitely exists.
Pay is poor compared to other companies. There was a serious brain drain in that a lot of talented engineers moved onto better things but none of their expertise was passed down, leaving a large gap in knowledge for the next men up.
Plenty of 'dangling the carrot' so to speak. Lots of talk about opportunities and promotions to keep you off their case for a while. From talking to people across the company this appears to be something prevelant across all departments.
People are extremely stressed and overworked, too much is put on PMs and engineers which all adds up and contributes to burn out and people having to be off sick. A completely unsustainable model.
