Overall, this company has potential, but it’s severely handicapped by its leadership. The recruiting process was hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced—professional, efficient, and well-structured. The People Department is fantastic, and some departments have an amazing culture. However, the positives stop there. The CEO is the root of the company’s dysfunction. While he’s written a solid set of company values, he’s the first to ignore them. Employees are expected to take ownership, yet favoritism runs rampant. Some employees are allowed to show up drunk, come in whenever they feel like it, and face zero consequences. Meanwhile, talented employees are overlooked, undervalued, or outright fired—like the competent CMO who was replaced with an unprofessional and clueless Creative Director. This individual has no idea what they’re doing, and the only reason the website hasn’t imploded is sheer luck. The marketing department is a chaotic mess, and anyone considering a job there should think twice. There’s no room for growth, and the environment is politically charged with zero accountability. The CEO is a micromanager who seems completely disconnected from the values he preaches. It became clear within three weeks that this place is a “good old boys club,” focused more on internal politics than actual progress or performance. My advice? Avoid this company, especially any roles tied to the marketing department.

This reflection fuels my commitment to becoming better for the benefit of our team and the company as a whole. Regarding the concern about favoritism, I understand how it could be perceived that way. Loyalty to long-tenured employees who have faced challenges and contributed to our growth over time can sometimes appear as favoritism to newer employees. It’s not about treating individuals differently but about recognizing that trust is built over time. However, I will reflect on this feedback to ensure we continue fostering a fair environment for all team members. Concerning the matter of alcohol use in the workplace, this is against company policy, and I take these allegations seriously. This will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate action will be taken to address the issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Regarding the replacement of our CMO, I’d like to clarify that there seems to be a misunderstanding. Our Creative Director has not taken on the role or duties of the CMO, and their responsibilities remain unchanged. While changes in leadership can be challenging, they are sometimes necessary to align with the company’s goals and direction. Lastly, I must address the sentiment expressed in wishing ill will toward myself and the company. While it is bold to make such a statement, I genuinely pray for peace and clarity for everyone involved. I also hope you find a situation that better aligns with your expectations and needs. Everyone deserves to work in an environment where they feel valued and supported. To conclude, we value feedback and use it as a tool to grow and improve. While we acknowledge our imperfections, our commitment to learning and striving for excellence remains steadfast. It's a subscription based company with 3 tiers. To get the offers first you must pay 500 dollars each month. Second tier is 250 and the lowest tier is 75 a month. You won't make your money back on the 75 a month tier. You only get offers that everyone else has already declined. You also have to pay 100 dollars for 1000 points. You use those points to pay for jobs. When it's time to get paid they don't use direct deposit or paper checks, PayPal, venmo, cash app, apple pay, branch or anything that will get you paid the same day. They only use stripe, square or quickbooks. You create an account and connect your bank account. Load up sends you an invoice. You send the invoice back to load up through the payment platform. They send you a digital card. You then pay yourself through a second invoice with your payment platform, for a convenience fee of course. Load up calls you 5 times a day with job offers that don't pay enough to survive. But the ask you to under bid that number. They try to start bidding wars with other contractors doing all the labor. The lowest bid gets the job. Management keeps all the savings. Payment takes well over a week and the digital card is only valid for 2 weeks. They must keep the money after that. You won't even believe how bad this company is
