Some great sales people, pockets of brilliance in customer success, smart engineering team. Great tech and good underlying product in a cool and important space. Awesome customer list. Most likely headed for a solid if not financially life-changing exit.
Minpunten
Founding team seems ego-driven, insincere, and unfocused on what matters. Blindspots around their personal value to the business are concerning at best. Many executive and middle management hires have been clueless people who worked at companies with successful exits. And we do not fire them when it becomes clear that they are ineffective. We pivoted into a smaller market, and are paying the price in terms of customer churn, lower bookings, bad product-market fit, and reduced ambitions. Post-layoff attrition is starting and many of smartest people with the best alternatives are leaving. Leadership has been slow to respond. And negative Glassdoor reviews/word on the street make it harder to hire.
