Low Morale: The aftermath of the layoffs has left morale at an all-time low. Employees are demoralized and disillusioned. 3. Fake Culture: The once-promised vibrant culture has proven to be superficial, with team events feeling forced and an overall sense of mistrust prevailing. 4. Lack of Transparency: The corporate transparency is non-existent, leading to a disconnect between employees and management. 5. Poor Benefit Structure: Significant cuts in benefits, including reduced long weekends and a slashed mastery budget, have further demotivated the staff. 6. Ineffective Leadership: The C-suite, controlled by a Private Equity firm, seems disconnected from the needs of both the business and its employees, focusing on short-term cost-cutting rather than sustainable growth.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, and sharing a comprehensive set of recommendations. I acknowledge how hard it's been over the last year, and I know that some of the decisions we've made have greatly impacted the morale and trust of the team. As CEO, this is not something that I take lightly. I’d like to address a few of your concerns and recommendations, and how they connect to the work we’re doing in 2024: On Transparency: We have always strived to be a hyper-transparent organization, but I realize that through the turbulence of 2023, we lost our rhythm. We have revamped our company-wide meetings to help address the needs of Loopers. The new twice-monthly format will have consistent updates on business performance, product roadmap, market insights, and our customers. On top of this, we will continue to lean into our Sprint Reviews, Product Roadmap meetings, and regular ‘Ask Me Anything’ events with the Senior Leadership Team. On Leadership: We have hired a new Chief Revenue Officer, and have also kicked off a search for a new senior executive which we announced this past week. We also have an intense focus this year on decision making frameworks and accountability. This all falls under our 4th objective of harmonizing how we work, and we are committed to driving a consistent leadership experience across the company. On Benefits: I acknowledge that we made some adjustments, and we understand the impact it has had on our team. We continue to offer 6 weeks of paid time off per year for North American employees, professional development support, health benefits, coordinated company-wide paid days off, mental health supports, RRSP matching in Canada, and more. I know changes are tough to adapt to, but I still believe firmly that our benefits are competitive and strong in this market. Thank you again for all of your feedback. Pluspunten

Work is interesting and challenging. Co-workers are talented and supportive. There is pressure from leadership to deliver on deadlines, but nothing unusual. Fully remote is a big plus.

Minpunten

The workload is heavy and can be overwhelming.

Another layoff. The C suite is struggling and is reacting without understanding the real problems. The Chief Product Officer is not able to produce a clear and successful product vision. A lot of hard work, but no results and the company is doomed.
