My name is Greg Milliken, a senior member of management at M-Files, and I want to respond to your review.
I think your advice to listen to employees is good advice, and I can say we really try to do that. It's possible that you feel your manager or other managers or executives aren't listening, but they are. I know every manager probably doesn't do this with exactly the same approach or effectiveness, so maybe something could be improved on your team or department.
Your comment also caught my attention, because I've recently been involved in company wide strategy workshops where literally everyone is listened to. I've never seen that done at any other company I've worked for in quite the same open and encouraging way. You may not see your ideas or input implemented, but that is different than the input being received in an open minded way.
Your comment about "not much allowed," is interesting to me as well, and it's invariably true that as we grow there is more structure and process, but to be honest, the company needs more of that, rather than less. Not everyone agrees with how that gets done, so maybe there is something you wanted to do that a manager or senior executive prevented or was against, I'm not sure. I'd sincerely like to hear what that was. I can't promise you that that ends up with you being "allowed" to do what you want, but I am sincerely offering you the path to getting there.
What is absolutely true, is that each member of the M-Files team has it in their hands to impact the company in fundamental ways. It appears you still work for the company, so if you do, I would encourage you to reach out to me directly, confidentially. If you really want to help create the environment and culture you want, then you need to help us create that. I can assure you you will be heard.
