Really hard to train yourself up on everything expected of you, and management advises you to look up things on the internet when you need actual training on some things.

Could not agree with you more, self-teaching is not the only way people learn! MAD Security has undergone many changes in the last 12 months, and we take employee suggestions very seriously. We now provide operational training for our employees to become more proficient in their profession, and we recently enacted professional development plans for every business unit within MAD Security. These development plans align with our rapid growth to ensure every employee has the opportunity to not only be trained in their current role, but to be trained and mentored in real time for new roles being created and defined as MAD Security grows. All that being said, MAD Security is a rapid moving company and as others have pointed out we are not for everyone. Our expectations on training and learning is that our employees not only rely on us to guide and provide, but aggressively seek it out by all means necessary to be the best version of themselves they can be. Our people are very driven and have become accustomed to learning new things every day. Which by the way is one of many reasons our customers tend to be lifelong customers!

--MAD Security cares about long-term client relationships over quick wins. It is easier to work for a company and sell when the service delivery is so good and you believe in the services you are providing to customers and prospects. --Processes are in place and regularly honed. Sales can be a very tough place to be, but the CEO and current VP-Sales are very directly involved in training the sales team. Solutions to sales challenges are collaborative, with the technicians/cyber engineers involved in sales training designed to arm sales with the information to fully describe outcomes to prospects and clients. --Employees are heard and novel ideas are encouraged at weekly level 10 meetings and weekly training. --There is weekly training with the CEO usually involved. Being able to get the CEO's direct input is invaluable. --Excellent growth potential. The current VP of Sales was hired from within based on his excellent performance and commitment to success. He is absolutely awesome to work for. --This industry is about to explode as more scrutiny and regulations for cybersecurity are in process. As a salesperson, my earning potential is of course paramount. --Great team environment with appropriate humor highly encouraged and appreciated. You can be yourself and diversity of thought is appreciated.

Minpunten

--The environment is high-tempo, and much is expected. Measures of performance are in place and the level of accountability is not for everyone. You have to bring your "A" game every day which can be challenging.

No opportunity, pay is terrible for the area, management stuck in the past. Constant mentioning of being replaced by AI. Our chat is called sweat shop for a reason. Reviews astroturfed.
