Ignore the Software Data Operations Engineer title as it is a lie. This role consists of almost no coding or software development, maximum minimal changes to Power BI visualizations. The entire job involves making tickets for Indian developers and calling them at night to tell them what to do. Despite not being listed in the job description, this role involves you calling low quality offshore developers in India for 1+ hours Monday-Thursday (also Sundays, since it's Monday there) to basically re-tell them what a client told you. This leads to no work life balance since you are working in the office 9am-5pm (mandatory and you get punished if you are not in the office by 9), and then from home 9pm until very late night. This results in 60 hour work weeks, burnout and average tenure length of 6 months in Redmond, with people leaving weekly. On top of that, the entire management chain in Redmond consists of toxic micromanagers which force people into hours of pointless busy work meetings a day and verbally harass employees. The CEO of the company, Rajeev, has a god complex and makes his employees read the 2 books he wrote during orientation and openly belittles employees during all hands meetings.
