Pluspunten

Company didn't provide much training but also didn't focus heavily on failures if you did a good job overall. Overall, good job to have early on in your career and stay for 1-3 years.

Minpunten

Huge learning curve with priorities shifting constantly and juggling multiple projects. Stressful environment with Fridays being brutal as most shipments were due to go out that day. After 1-3 years, you need to get out bc the culture can be toxic with feeling like you need to work past 5 or off hours. I didn't do that unless necessary but carried the feeling that I was not as good of an employee.

Rampant Nepotism & Unprofessionalism: The "family-owned" vibe is really just a cover for extreme nepotism. Decisions aren't made based on merit, and the lack of professionalism at the management level is staggering. The "Lobby Scraps" Benefit Plan: Don't expect any actual employee appreciation. There are no company lunches or social events for the staff unless a client or company rep visits. Once they’re done, the "benefits" consist of the employees being allowed to scavenge the leftovers. Pay for Your Own Coffee while Directors get Cars: It’s a joke. They’ll make you pay for your own coffee in the breakroom, yet you’ll see Directors driving around in company-funded cars. The wealth gap and lack of basic perks for the people actually doing the work is insulting. Stagnant Productivity: Trying to finish a project is a nightmare. It requires reaching out to other departments, which takes forever because the culture is built on doing the absolute bare minimum. No one will ever "do extra work" to help a colleague out.
