when starting out the company was still smaller and the atmosphere was very nice. Now they've been expanding and it became a lot more corporate.

Minpunten

no real attention to the workers who need it most. It's being budgeted away

If you're looking for a company to care about you on a humane level, tie a bandana to a stick and hit the road — this isn't the place for you. Opportunities for growth are dangled in front of you for months/years, but don't amount to anything. As a show of good faith, you're required to take on some extra work, effectively doubling the scope of your responsibilities, without getting fairly compensated for it. Being held accountable for your behaviour is only something a selected few have to deal with. Others, due to their relationship with C-level for example, can behave like absolute tyrants — even to the point of pushing some of their team members to quit — without ever being confronted by management. They can even get promoted, imagine that! Talking about compensation, be sure to compare your salary with those of your male colleagues with the same title, regardless of seniority. There might be some surprises there. When the trip finally ends, forget being treated decently. HR will take you for a massive ride and make your life complicated just because they are legally allowed to do so. No surprises there though — to any newcomer, don't be fooled — since the HR team doesn't ooze kindness or decency, and is only nice if a law somewhere requires them to be so. To top it all off, this company's whole schtick revolves around a large serving of greenwashing. What they claim comes from an altruistic desire to make cities more breathable and transportation more accessible, is only a veil of shadows over their true interest: increasing shareholder value. Also, forget about any kind of diversity. I'd say less than 10% of the company isn't white.

Very toxic environment and management So many people fired/let go right before the end of the probation period Each minute must be accounted for so you have to let them know everytime you go to the bathroom this is not an exaggeration Low salary for shift work + weekends + public holidays + night
