Pondicherry branch enforces unnecessary, school-like rules not mentioned in the employee handbook or followed in other MariApps locations. Mandatory shoe-wearing policy even though it’s not official and not applied in other branches. Employees are forced to speak only in English — even during internal conversations in the cafeteria. If you fail to follow the “English only” rule, management imposes a ₹100 fine, which is not in any official policy. Leadership and local HR seem more focused on controlling employees than creating a healthy, professional culture. Kochi HR team and higher management have not intervened despite repeated concerns.
