A lot of Data Science projects are for US clients so can mean evening calls. That said there is flexible hours so you can adjust your day if you have a late evening meeting.

You meet pretty interesting people and form a bond with them.

The plan is to replace everyone with AI sooner rather than later as they have already done so in small bursts. The higher-ups praise the new tech in meetings even though they know it means more layoffs than have already happened. They lie and say that humans are still necessary but go on to introduce a new program that renders departments moot and then another round of mass layoffs happen "out of nowhere."
