Pluspunten
Lots of good points to talk about. 1. The CEO and the higher management notices excellent performances and identifies talents. They involve them in important discussion irrespective of their designations. 2. In very few companies you will find an analyst or even associate is interacting with the CEO. He even knows them by name. 3. The company's vision is strong and to achieve those the management encourages it's employees by introducing different incentive schemes. The idea is to achieve company goals by empowering employees to set & achieve individual goals. 4. There is a greater sense of job security. Even if people fails to achieve certain goals or responsibilities the management seldom ask him/her to leave. He/she is given another opportunity to get fit in another role. 5. It values loyalty. The loyal employees are retained and treated well. There are numerous instances when after leaving the company people have rejoined. The HR even prefers to bring back talents at higher packages. 6. Employees concerns are well addressed. The management acts swiftly to make changes in core management (even in HR team as well) and are amazingly able to keep both accused and accusers happy. 7. Healthy competition among different teams or domains ensures a lively work environment. Inter domain conflicts are almost null. 8. Great support teams be it IT, Editing, QC, or Graphics. Sales team keeps great synergy with research team. 9. Flexitime, quarterly parties, good work life balance are among many other plus points to choose this company.
Minpunten
No company can be perfect in every aspects. Negative points lies in people's perceptions. You have every right to disagree with below points. 1. Loyalty sometimes become complacency. There are few people who don't add any value to the company and are happily stay put unnoticed. 2. Encouragement sometimes become over expectations. Some domain heads pass on everything to junior level. 3. Strategy execution skills are poor at top level. Have seen so many great ideas were derailed due to poor execution and wrong choice of people in charge. Some people are just not worthy. 4. Giving a second opportunity is okay unless until it starts hurting other performers. Once a failure in certain role can become a key decision maker for everything in no time. Its little difficult to others who have self respect. 5. Lack of training and development in the initial days has made a cultural shift. That left a host of senior employees who are reluctant to have any T&D or to provide any to the juniors. 6. Despite having a nice and big MIS team the research teams are asked to fill too many templates which are mostly redundant. They don't even bother to explain why the data is needed. May be you are providing nails for your own coffin. God knows!
