While our wages for Program Instructors and other direct support positions have increased by 46.8% since 2018, we agree with you - our employees and the work they do for the people we support are worth more. We have only been able to increase wages as we have because of the consistent advocacy efforts that our President & CEO, our employees, board members, and families make year after year with our state legislators. It is a priority of ours that they understand our value to not only the most vulnerable citizens in our community, but to the state as a whole. As you know from working here, we need employees to engage in this process with legislators - it is all of our jobs to educate them and advocate for fair and indexed wages.
