Be prepared to enter the snake pit if you work for the corporate headquarters. Discrimation (in most forms) is overlooked and tolerated as long as the perpetrator is in good with office politics. Management does not care about employees, you are dispensable and replaceable. I worked there for many years and it has only gotten worse year by year. Brown nosing abilities are of paramount importance here. It is also most important that one navigate the corporate culture by constantly proclaiming how lucky they are to work there, if you cannot be a fake person don't work here.
