Pluspunten
This place was great a few years ago under BASF. There are still some remnants of greatness which are quickly fading away because of the new ownership by an equity firm (Lone Star). The management team in the US consists of good people. They are being forced by the equity firm to make changes that are ruining the company. Benefits as of this day are still good. Many employees are concerned that the equity firm will take all that away.
Minpunten
German control over the whole business is ruining it. They have hired a consulting company that is making really dumb changes. The company is losing great people to competitors. Customers are also noticing the decline. The CEO in Germany does not care about employees, he also does not care about the long term health of the company. The focus is on making the numbers for the short term. They are trying to show good profitability to sell the company and make a profit. There are Teams in the company that have no contributions but are getting boosted by management, they are literally BS Team. On the other hand, headcount is being reduced in other productive groups.
