Minpunten
TLDR: toxic personalities in power, systemic dishonesty, and financial instability # Toxic leadership at the engineering VP level. In one region you have a leader who fluctuates between being overly encouraging and deeply antagonistic Depending On the day (intermittent reinforcement)........ this volatile leadership creates a culture of psychological insecurity. In another region, you have a person who promotes a lack of transparency regarding project progress and a culture that DiscourageS honest feedback on output quality. If you try to point this out, you will be gas lit and dragged through the mud by them. # Absence of performance management. High-performers are demotivated by a culture of favoritism and the retention of under-performers for the sole purpose of meeting future layoff quotas # Company seems to be in financial distress which means no promotions, bonuses, or raises for multiple years. Difficult to grow with a company when they cannot financially support your growth.......... # Morale is low......... due to fear of more layoffs. Many people that are left are burnt out and "phoning it in" but stay due to the great flexibility # Lack of transparency regarding the company's financial health and strategic direction. Management’s defensive reaction to inquiries has created a vacuum where rumors thrive, further eroding trust and productivity # Strong favoritism for anyone who is ex-Coyote or an early employee and for the rest of us, you're SOL
