development team is extremely inefficient and fails to communicate between front and backend developers..... within a month I was in meetings at 2am with them because of how behind they were. upper management seems to just want to push features out with no communication or planning. kanban fail.....

Dysfunctional Leadership and a Deeply Flawed Onboarding Experience Having supported executives across 20+ years as a Senior EA — with over 50 endorsements from the leaders I have worked with — I have a well-calibrated sense of what a healthy, well-run organization looks like. This was not it. The onboarding process alone was one of the most disorganized I have encountered in my career, and in my experience, that is rarely an isolated issue — it reflects how an organization operates broadly. That proved to be the case here. Leadership lacks the maturity and managerial experience needed to build trust, develop teams, or create a functional working environment. There is visible tension and distrust between leaders, which filters down and creates an atmosphere that makes it difficult for employees to do their best work. I have genuine respect for the service this company provides, but the internal culture does not match the external presentation. Until there is meaningful investment in leadership development and organizational health, I would encourage candidates to look carefully before accepting a role here. Inexperienced and emotionally immature leadership, poor onboarding, and significant distrust within the team and jealousy. I got out early because of the dysfunctional/organizational mess!
