I love working for Mercer. The people are for the most part fantastic, and most of them strive to succeed and hold themselves and other to high standards.

Minpunten

Some of my coworkers don't care about their jobs at all and complain about working (even though they are getting paid for overtime), yet have been rewarded in all the same ways as those who do not take such a lazy approach. Does not seem fair, and thus removes some incentive to perform well.

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
