I’ve never seen an organisation that is so fixated with pleasing internal stakeholders and putting on a show. They loose sight of their actual goals and focus. Instead, the focus is on how other internal teams perceive your team. It’s pretty much a popularity contest, how loud you are, how much you tell everyone that you’re “busy” (I.e. oh-so-important).
Contrary to the so called values of external customer focus, the company does not focus on providing value to customers, but rather how much money they can get away with continuously charging unaware customers who have not used their services for years.
