hourly wage is decent for the area, can get a great salary with union overtime rates. company promotes to supervisor, automation/process engineer often. topout after a year (tradesmen only)

the mandatory overtime. once you accrue some PTO it becomes manageable but the first few years are rough.

We sat in orientation about safety for six plus hours. Once I started working there, I started it feel like nobody was following basic safety protocols, and not only that, but I was also pressured not to. The station I was put on constantly had issues where my partner and I would have to step on the conveyor belt while it was still active to fix stuff, and that STILL wasn't fast enough for the plant coordinator. Just completely shameful.
