From the first few weeks on the job I could tell that Methodist Health System was a special place to work. There is a culture of support surrounding the employees and it is very apparent that the employees here are valued. This cannot be said for all jobs and hospital systems, so I feel extremely grateful! They also offer great benefits and resources.

Minpunten

Some of the technology systems used are a bit antiquated, but still manageable.

Coming from a smaller size hospital but big company like Methodist and known high paying hospital in DFW, I needed more shifts. Since MDMC is bigger than my other PRN, I have higher chance of getting shifts because there are more monitoring stations, more staff taking PTOs, higher chance of staff calling out sick and therefore opening the shift, etc.

More workload and higher census! Almost 50 patients on heart monitor per station.
